Welcome to a beautiful crisp and clear day here at the Jersey Shore. AND I took the day off from work....Wooo Hooo!!!! I got up early. Sat down with my coffee and the newspaper and turned on Fox and Friends and Joe Scarborough. Now thats my way to spend the morning. Twelve days to go until this election. This has been the craziest campaign. We couldn't make this stuff up. I guess I am like a sponge. I get immersed in all this stuff. I love it, the politics, the bantering, the things they make up. And I try my best to sort it all out. My take right Now? We are in one Hell of a crisis! We are in a war that we can't win and can't get out of. Our economy is in the toilet. Gas prices and the price of food etc. are going higher and higher. While we send all manufacturing overseas. A hurricane three years ago still has not been dealt with and we have people standing around waiting for the government to rebuild. I say pull yourself up by the bootstraps, pull on your big girl panties and do something for yourself! AND....don't rebuild in a flood zone!!! Idiots!!! AND what are we going to do in twelve days.....elect the most Liberal Senator in the Senate to the Presidency. Think we are in a world of s---now?....... Geez maybe I am on politics overload. OK, I will take a deep breath.

I have been going over some Blogging entrys and also some How to's. Look at that bookrack over there on the sidebar. Now if thats no the cutest thing. And thanks to Sugar, I got rid of that Word Verification on my comments page. But there are still some things that are not clear for me. I have a hard time finding the Dashboard once I get out of it. I have learned to put it into my favorites. Pictures: they always show up at the top of my blog. Then when I drag them down, it leaves a large space at the top where they were. I guess it will come together in time. Some of the blogs really look great.

I took some pictures Sunday at Grandsons football game. We went over to Brigantine. It was a really windy and cold day.

Hello Nice People,

Where have I been? I have been having problems getting into my blog. Today, it came up right away. And I have not put any pictures in this entry because my blog becomes so large with pics. I will have time tomorrow when I am off from work for a day to really learn more about blogging. I read a few blogs on my folowers list just now and it looks like everyone is settled in.

Also, I am starting to put some thought into a NEW computer. This one is 6 or 7 years old.

HMMMMM, maybe a laptop for me and let Hubby take this one for his cards.

Well, I just got in from work and now gonna start some Supper.

(Pant, pant, pant) I just came over from JLand. Wait, let me catch my breath...................puff, puff.....................I ran ALL THE WAY. I Thought I would never get here. There are abandoned journals all over the place. It is a sad state. Pictures are scattered everywhere. Memories, laughs, tears, just blowing in the wind. Dad's tomatoes are ripe, but he is still there. Linda from Washington is on vacation and her Journal is quiet waiting for her to return. I saw Blue heading up the road to Mosie and Cliffs new digs. Sugars tags were sitting by the side of the road. She left a sign that said, "Take what you want before they are deleted." Christine, I tried to bring over some of your carousels but there were just too many. Kellys chickens were all headed this way so they will be fine. I think Rachel is coming by air. Thats the way she always travels. I passed Rosemary, she was a few miles back giving directions. Jeanette was gathering flowers from her garden to bring along. Joyce stopped at a yard sale on the way. but she got here before me anyway. I saw Sandra with Roman in tow trying to keep him out of the path of Bison and cows. Pauline was just shaking her head and saying. "This wouldn't happen in Texas!!!!" And Janet from Serendipity is heartbroken cause her Journal just turned 3 and she can't bring it along. Dirk is still back there watching tapes of the Sara Palin/Joe Biden Show.
I passed some heavy equipment. Front-end loaders, a wrecking ball, bull dozers, and they all had AOL painted on them. I told them that there are Journals back there that belong to people that are no longer with us and we would like to remember them. "Too bad" they said, "this is business."
But we'll show 'em. Welcome to Googletown.

Finally Finding Some Time

Hello Nice People,

I have finally sat down to catch up on this blog. I feel like everyone is getting ahead of me and leaving me in the dust. There is so much here that I still don't know how to do because I haven't been here. And when I would like to sit and browse some friends entrys, Hubby is playing CARDS. We need two computers.

The weather here at the Jersey Shore has been absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! We had a nice little BarBQue on Sunday. No reason, just to get the family together. Dominic was sure there was an ulterior motive. Like I had a big announcement to make....maybe I won the lottery. Or I was pregnant (LOL). My BFF Carole and her hubby Charlie came. And of course my Niece Joyce and Bunky. I never forget them. And the kids and their families. I found out one thing, now that the kids are older, you can't grab them for pictures.

I am off from work for the next 2 days. I have to go for a Nuclear Stress Test tomorrow and Friday. All because New Jersey Motor Vehicles is threatening to take my CDL License. Knock On Any Door

Hello Nice people,

I have been cruising around the new neighborhood today. Everytime I sit down to fool with this blog and figure things out........I get sidetracked onto something else or another blog. There are just so many interesting people here. There is one blogger that I am just amazed by. On the screen that says "your favorite book", maybe its the Dashboard, I'm not sure. I put in, my favorite book titled, Knock On Any Door. Then I got a screen that said "People whose favorite book also is Knock On Any door. You mean someone else Read that book? Wow<>

Why I live where I do! This is her Blog. Her name is Diane and she says she has 10 hours of music on this one site. I was just very impressed by her.

I have been cooking most of today. We are having a BarBque tomorrow. Yeh, I waited til October to have a get together with the family. I think the weather will beautiful tomorrow. Its a four day weekend for me and hubby. Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday wooo hoo!!!! I hope to have some pictures to show.
