Its finally Over.

 Hello Nice People,

Poor Sara.  I wonder what she is doing now.   Someone went up to Alaska and drug her down here to the lower 48.  Dressed her up in Fancy duds, told her what to say and tried to convince us that she was Presidential material.  Now those same people are tearing her down, smearing her character and making her the butt of more jokes.  All I can think is she didn't ask for any of this. What was the point?

The idea that a woman of such limited experience should suddenly emerge on the national stage and be a heartbeat away from the presidency without a thorough vetting process is very scary.

And being a Republican, I stuck by McCain all the while wondering if I was being stupid.   This election is finally behind us and it is what it is.  I hope the good Lord looks down on us and Mr Obama and gives him all the help that  he will surely need.

I have found so many interesting blogs since we moved over from Jland.  The more time I spend moving from one to another, the more I want to be a follower.  I have to rein  myself in from clicking on "Follow This Blog"  on almost everyone I read.  I have to find the time to stay with the originals, let alone join too many others.  But they are just so tempting.   From Cluckin a Critter Farm,  I found Tennessee Grandaddy.  I seem to lean toward the ones that are Country or Farm  or Animals, like Kelly and her chickens.  Does that say anything about me?  Maybe I was a farmer in a former life.  Or maybe a cow???

This is the third day of a four day weekend.  Thursday and Friday were the two New Jersey Teachers Convention days.  So all public schools are closed.  Last year it was a five day weekend that included Monday as Veterans Day.   But they discovered that when the teachers have five days off, they  go to Florida.  So this year, we are back to school on Monday, and then have Tuesday  off for Veterans Day.  And it has rained  since Wednesday.

The little clock in the corner says 9:37 PM.  Time to call it a night.  Everyone stay well, and I will  Talkatchalater.

  4. We have been having such unseasonably warmer weather I have been taking those days to be outside instead of on the computer. I know those days are limited and it will eventually turn cold and dismal. On those days I know I will be able to keep up with everyone better. ;) I know what you mean about finding new journals and wanting to read them all! I just have to do what you do and try and control myself. Have a good day today. Hugs, Kelly

  11. Hi I am new to blogs. I saw yours on the low carb site. What caught my eye was that you
live on the NJ shore also your blog with
Sarah Palin ( My husband and I loved her).
I hope I have enough grace to take what she did. I really am sad that it went the way it did. I grew up on the NJ shore now live in Oregon. (Can't go any further west.).
I saw somewhere that you watch Fox and Friends I do too usually at 3:00am oregon time.

  13. I have found a lot of new blogs myself. I would love to sit here all day and read all of them but Alas I can't sit but a few minutes at a time. I find myself sitting to long then the old back kicks in. I think Sarah knows more than she is given credit for. Helen
