Hello Nice People,
Where have I been? Somebody took my ADD ENTRY button. So I sat and looked at the empty space where it used to be. Then I X'd out the Journal and came back and sat and looked at it again. "How the heck did I do this before? I must be losing it." I did this for 4 days. Then I gave up! But it finally re-appeared and here I am.
It has been a dreary, rainy 4 days here at the Jersey Shore. I don't know when it is going to clear up. And I hate driving in the rain.
Has anyone been watching the Eagle Mom and her baby on the EagleCAM?WVEC.com Eagle CamThis is a live camera at the Norfolk Virginia Botanical Gardens. Momma and Poppa Eagles lost a couple of eggs to predators, but she finally got one to hatch. I have been watching since the little guy was just a thought in his Daddys head. So now he is hatched as of April 27th. Now they have found a growth on the eaglets beak. Thursday is the day that they are going to take baby out of the nest and do a biopsy. Poor Mom, what will she think? Check it out.
I am watching Oprah, while I am typing this. She is doing a show on makeovers. Why didn't she call me? I sure could use one. BUT, what the heck is she wearing? I know she is gaining weight, but it seems that all she wears lately are those big full skirts that exagerate her weight gain and that we wore in the 50's. She will probably get a show out of it. Like, "Does My *** look big in this rediculous skirt?"
Well, one of the Grands is on his way over. He is going to stay here while Mommy takes his brother to the allergist. And that is usually a long visit.
So I better get off of the computer because Nick will want to use it.

Hi Marlene. I'm finally back in with a new monitor this week. Glad you found the "add" button. Your monkey looks very toasty in his sweater especially since we have a big 94* today as well as yesterday. Driving that bus in the rain would be nerve damaging to me :) Well, here's my granddaughter in from school so catch you later..........alice

AOL must have been having lots of problems this week because I've had various problems accessing people's journals; leaving comments, etc; so glad your problems worked themselves out so you could add an entry
ReplyDeleteI don't usually watch Oprah but I feel for her if she is gaining weight; I have the same problem, lose it, gain it back, lose it again; gain it, etc; I'm on the losing side of it (or trying to) so I can totally relate to her; its hard sometimes to figure out why we have such an obsession towards food
bet always a good thing to spend time with your grands :)
