I don't have to go to work today

Good Mornin'......!   I DON'T HAVE TO GO TO WORK TODAY!  And what a good feeling that is.  Would it be nice not to have to work every day?  I don't know  sometimes it seems like it would.  How great would it be to be able to do what ever you want every day?  Instead of your life being ruled by someone else.  But then they say, "Oh don't retire, cause then you die!!!  But a day off now and then is really appreciated.  I want to jam everything into these next few hours.  But I do have to go to a funeral this morning and here I sit on the puter.  A neighbor passed away and he is also my sons Grampop in-law (is that a word?).

So lets see, how do I plan my day.

#l     Get off of this puter

#2    Put a ham in the oven for son to take over to the family

#3    Go to funeral and then Mass in Atlantic City at St Mike's

#4    Stop at Joans (retired girlfriend) and we'll go out for lunch

This is my friend JOAN

#5    Stop at Circuit City and buy a new electronic thingy thay I have been wanting.   (Or maybe not).

#6  Stop by Carole's to see her new floors.

#7   Pick up something for supper

#8   Back Home

Whew!!!!!!!    What a day.   Well, I am off..................

  3. Don't listen to them Marlene.  Retirement is a dream.  Get up when I want, go to bed when I want and do what I want to do all day.  It's been 3 years and I haven't died yet...lol.

  4. Well, I like your journal...found you thru Joyce....who I found thru Magic Smoke.  LOL  <fun to surf journals>.  I can tell I would enjoy visiting you often.  You and yours seem to have fun at life.  Love the photos of the dog, especially the one where they were camped out asleep--- was that your husband he was sitting on?  Have a good day. I'm putting you on MyAol feeds so I can visit again.
