Crochet

                              Hello nice People,

I was going  through some picture albums today.  I guess thats what you do when you don't get dressed all day and no one calls to say "Mom can you.....?"  And hubby (that's him over there on the couch---------------->) has that stupid SciFi channel on the TV.  I came across some pictures of some of the afghans that I have crocheted.  I got to wondering, "how come I don't crochet like I used to?"  Actually, when I was a lot younger I crocheted.  Now that I am older, I don't.   What happened?   Hmmm, do you think it could be....................THIS COMPUTER?  (Think Church lady when she says, "Could it be THE DEVIL?)  I used to crochet dolls.  I had more crocheted dolls and they were in every corner.  They had their own chairs and sofas.  I think I was obsessed with crocheted dolls.  Then one day I looked around and thought, "What the  heck do people think when they come in here?  They probably think what a bunch of junk."  So I threw them all away.  Did you ever get into a cleaning frenzy and toss stuff out?   Then a few days later (after the trash truck comes, of course) you are sorry.  I used to think of them laying in some landfill someplace crying their little button eyes out.

But I do have some of the afghans I made and here are two pictures of them.

And now I am off of this computer.  Tomorrow will be a more productive day, I promise!!

  1. Your blankets are fabulous!!  I crochet and knit, mostly for charity, but did so when the kids were infants.  I would do this while they napped.  Like you, the blogging and computer has captured my interests and the knitting has taken a back seat.
