IT'S THREE O'CLOCK SOMEWHERE (Thats a song isn't it?)

Hello Nice People,

Yawn, yawn, it's 3 AM! What am I doing up? If I wake up in the middle of the night, I can lay there for 10 minutes....thats it, and I have to get up. The old brained starts to race.....hmmmm, wonder whats happening outside. May as well get up and peek out the blinds. Not much out there. The cats are asleep on the deck in the chair. Its still dark out. Wonder when the paper will get here. I may as well stay up. Wonder whats happening in the world. Turn on the TV. CNN, Fox News....at least they are on all night. They are like an old friend, always there when you need them. Does this make any sense? Don't expect too much at 3 AM. Well, we have the two girls back from Korea. Finally something to knock Michael Jackson off the

news. I think they have milked that for all its worth.

Friends. Now Carole and Joan have shot back into my brain, so I will never get back to sleep. Friends. They come into your life and stay 30-40 years and then their life becomes part of yours. Including their problems

Joan, an old bus driver buddy. Joan retired 4 years ago. she's been widowed for 6 years. Now the doctor says they have found a mass on her liver. I know she is worried about it. The first thing you think of is cancer. She goes for a Nuclear MRI today. Carole, the bestest person in the world. Carole has had a falling out with her grown daughters and my heart is breaking. Carole, Melanie, Terry, just knock it off , big hug and lets get back to life as it was. Hmmm, 3:45, think I will have my morning coffee.

Here comes Hubby. I guess I woke him up heating up the tea pot. I am an Instant coffee drinker. Watch, he's going to say, "What are you doing up? What do you find

to do on that computer at 4:00 in the morning?

Three more weeks and I pick up my bus. Wonder what run I will get this year. When I left in June, on the way out the door, I told boss lady, Hey, I want something easy and short next year. I'll take care of you was her reply. I don't have to be concerned any more about making lots of hours. Leave that to the younger folks. And most of them need the money, like we did when we were young. I have had some long runs.....200 miles a day last year. I am getting to old to do it anymore.

Hubby is painting the back bedroom. That is my little retreat. I have my TV and my laptop and my recliner in there.

We took everytyhing out for him to paint. I have colleted more s----. What was I thinking? what am I going to do with all this stuff? Carole says have a yard sale, "Iwll help you." Hey,maybe Terry and Melanie will show up and you guys can sit down and talk. No Carole, you are too stubborn for that too happen. It's 5 o'clock. The local news starts any minute. Channel 6.....probably the same old stuff. An accident, overturned tractor and trailer on the Pennslyvania Turnpike. 4 shootings in Philadelphia. Some guy shot up a gym full of women cause he didm't have sex for 19 years. Poor baby...geez I wonder why!!!!

Coffee's getting cold. gonna watch the news and wait for the paper to come. Life is good!
