Pumpkin Vines Have Feet!!!!

Hello Nice People,

Who knew that you shouldn't plant a pumpkin seed in the flower bed in the front yard. This is a vine from ONE seed. It has traveled clear around the side of the house and even tried to attach itself to the chimney and head up, up, up. I never knew that a pumpkin vine had these little stickly feet that holds onto everything even the ground.

But it does look pretty. If the squirrels would leave it alone, we will have pumpkins in the front yard by September.

We have had way too much rain here at the Jersey Shore this Summer. We had such a deluge yesterday I thought I was getting water inside of the Suburban on the way home. It was one of those times when you start through a little water on top of the road and all of a sudden your in water almost to the floor boards.

We have been working hard in this house. Trying to get things done before its time to go back to work on September 3rd.

Here's the back bedroom. This room had dark paneling for years. Hubby painted a nice soft green. I wanted that Shabby Chic look. I don't know what I would do without Hubby. This is my sitting room. I have my TV and my laptop in here. My make up vanity, and check out the neato tower with the baskets. That houses all my "stuff." Hair dryer, curling iron, hair sprays etc. Everything that has been stored on the floor for many years, now has a place.

Well, its time for an Eagles pre season game. I think I will go and watch. Life is good.
